Design Inspiration

Inspired by the radiant lacquerware culture of the Yi ethnic group, the classic sun and moon motifs and the distinctive silhouettes of lacquer vessels—embodying the full, rounded forms of suns, moons, wine vessels, and botanicals—are transformed into stars and moons dangling from ears, and halos of light encircling the neck.

The celestial patterns adorning lacquerware, the flowing curves of these vessels, represent the sedimentation of life's aesthetics—a tribute to nature. They carry the poetic essence and sublime ritualism of Yi daily life, worn as personal adornments.
